| For posting the first correct answer to a regular question | One Cormo | 10 points |
| For the time elapsed between posting of a regular question (or clarification of same) and posting the first correct answer | One Herdwick per hour (first day) or per two hours (second day), etc | 1 point per Herdwick |
| For special contributions to the competition, and whenever The Panel felt like it | One or more Katahdins | 5 points per Katahdin |
